Preparing for Your Visit

ITAR regulations dictate that information and material pertaining to space, defense, and military-related technologies (for items listed on the U.S. Munitions List) may only be shared with U.S. Persons unless authorization from the Department of State is received or a special exemption is used.

Therefore, MacroFab will restrict from entering ITAR restricted area any visitor who is not classified as a U.S. Person. A “U.S. Person” can be:

  • A U.S. citizen

  • A permanent resident alien (green card holder) who does not work for a foreign company, a foreign government, or a foreign governmental agency or organization.

  • An alien refugee or alien granted asylum.

  • A part of the U.S. government.

  • A corporation, business, organization, or group that is incorporated in the United States under U.S. law.

Prior to entering our facilities, we may request proof that you are a U.S. Person. The use of cell phones and taking pictures may be restricted, and violators may be legally prosecuted.
