Red Hot PCB: Liquid Level Monitors

By The MacroFab Team  |  October 30, 2017

Fresh out of our assembly line we have Dixon Bayco’s monitor board that serves for their capacitance liquid level sensor. Dixon Bayco, a Division of Dixon, develops liquid loading equipment. The completed assembly of Dixon’s monitors and sensors are used in various applications including several mobile tankers and stationary storage tanks at chemical facilities. The monitor board is attached with an alarm and flashing LED lights to indicate a wet condition when the capacitance sensor becomes wet. These boards are occasionally used in hazardous locations with volatile liquids so they must meet stringent safety requirements in order to maintain safe operations even during a failure.
